East Perth, Western Australia
This particular area of Perth has many hidden gems for photography, even more so after the completion of a 60,000 seat capacity stadium and a pedestrian bridge across the Swan River. It includes Claisebrook Cove with its many artwork scattered along footpaths, Optus Stadium & Matagarup Bridge also has its own parks and playgrounds, Gloucester Park with its harness racing course and not forgetting the nearby WACA (Western Australian Cricket Association) sports stadium. Also worth mentioning here is the number of parks we have in the area, namely Mardalup Park, Victoria Gardens and Queens Gardens. After years of photographing the area since 2015, I still find many surprises on my trips of discovery. A whole section dedicated to East Perth with images in panoramic format. Images shot with a Canon R5 camera and Canon RF 15-35mm & RF 24-70mm lenses. Panoramic equipment includes Nodal Ninja Ultimate M2 panoramic head and RD8II rotator. An Acratech levelling base is also used for fuss free and fast levelling of the tripod each time. In 2022, I began my journey into aerial photography and started taking panoramas with drones (DJI Mavic 3 & Mini 3 Pro), giving me different perspectives of the landscapes from the air that is not possible with land based panoramas. I have tried to be consistent with my work and bring out work that is of high quality.
