In this panorama you can see three sporting fields, right to the left is Trinity College track & sporting field, in the middle is the WACA stadium, next to it is Queens Gardens and to the right is Gloucester Park, a harness racing facility. In the top left corner is the abandoned development which suppose to be apartment blocks, etc. where they have spent quite a few years and money to prepare the ground for construction. To the left of Matagarup Bridge is Gloucester Park, WACA grounds and City skyline. Sun is rising on the right end of image with the almost full moon in the middle of sky. Flying the drone early in the morning is always so pleasant and fun to explore for new prospectives to frame up for a panorama. Taken bracketed images (3) at F4 and ISO 100 using the DJI Mavic 3 drone. Although I also have a DJI Mini 3 Pro drone, I tend not to use it much for my aerial photography, maybe because it has a fixed F1.7 aperture and will have to increase ISO and exposure times for sunrise shots. Will have to use and experiment more with this drone.

Taken on one of the rare autumn morning on the 15/4/23 where we have motionless water and a sky filled with dark rain clouds, can't ask for more! Almost a perfect reflection on the water! Also a memorable day for me where I managed to crash my drone (DJI Mavic 3) into the river and by some miracle it managed to be airborne again and returned to my home location despite been drenched in water! Luckily I have purchased some sort of insurance cover and have a replacement drone within a week. Below is a series of three more panoramas for your viewing taken on the same morning before the big crash.

Flying the drone just under 10m above water. Only by using a drone, I am able to frame my shots and get the angle and perspective that I wanted, otherwise with land based setup it would be almost impossible.

Installation of an ultraviolet light screening system to reduce bacterial growth;
Installation of aerators to improve oxygenation and mixing of lake water, as well as providing providing aesthetic value;
Implementation of a regular maintenance program to control the growth of the aquatic weed;
Development of a procedure to protect the wildlife during any maintenance operations; and,
Citizen Science Programs and lakeside signage to help residents understand water quality and maintenance issues.

Queens Gardens, Perth, is a 3.3-hectare park on a former brickworks and clay pit site in the eastern end of the Perth central business district. Need to spend more time flying the Mini 3 Pro to explore its capabilities and limitations in comparison to its much bigger brother, the Mavic 3 drone. Tend not to use it in very windy conditions but it handle well in moderate windy conditions. Its size and weight are its major advantages, easy to pack, fly and it has vertical format, perfect for manual panoramas.
